A very short sci-fi piece I put together during quarantine, both as a class project and a personal project. Rough around the edges, but I wanted to explore some of the narrative capabilities of Twine.
Wrestling is a painful industry, and sometimes respite is hard to find.
Getting a once in a lifetime chance to talk to your hero is even harder. Young, newly signed wrestler Dexter Flex (you) runs into his childhood hero and current champion, Billy Rattle, during a smoke break. One of you is going to walk away from this conversation changed, but you're not quite sure who.
I used this piece as an opportunity to experiment with time as an element of interactive fiction, and how it can mold the experience when it influences dialogue.
